This lecture will describe complications that can arise when extracting teeth in dogs and cats, ways to avoid them, and techniques during the procedure to help resolve complications. Root tip retrieval, hemorrhage, and hard and soft tissue trauma to adjacent and surrounding structures will be discussed.
