This lecture will review common maxillofacial trauma seen in general practice and emergency medicine. We will review how to triage, diagnose, and different treatment options as well as discuss when to refer to a dental specialist. The goal will be to understand more about these types of trauma to help educate clients regarding next steps for trauma management.
