Through the case of Misty, a pediatric kitten with a severe traumatic brain injury, this session explores the critical care management of pediatric head trauma. Topics include medical and nursing interventions, blood pressure support, intracranial hypertension management, nutritional support, vascular access, neurogenic shock, polytrauma, analgesia, and long-term care. Attendees will gain practical strategies for recognizing and managing the unique challenges of pediatric trauma patients.
