Hemoabdomen cases demand swift, decisive action to
prevent rapid patient decline. This lecture guides veterinary professionals
through the critical steps of stabilizing a patient with suspected or confirmed
hemoabdomen, from the moment they arrive at the hospital to their safe transfer
into the surgical suite if surgery is required. Attendees will learn how to
perform rapid triage, initiate fluid resuscitation, manage hypovolemic shock,
and make timely diagnostic decisions that won’t delay life-saving intervention.
