Investigators listing clinical studies on the AAHSD are encouraged to post the outcomes of those studies to their study listing once their results have been finalized. If the outcomes of a study have been posted on the AAHSD, the recruitment status of the study will be updated to "completed - results posted". Individuals wishing to search the AAHSD for study results should initiate a search for the studies of interest and then refine the search results returned by expanding the 'Recruitment Status' menu under 'Filter Search' in the left side column and then selecting "completed with results". Alternatively, to browse all studies with final outcomes posted, initiate a search by selecting 'all species' on the home page and then refining the results by expanding the 'Recruitment Status' menu under 'Filter Search' in the left side column and then selecting "completed with results".
The final outcomes of a study may be posted either as text in the 'study results' section of the listing, or as a link to a published manuscript that arose from the results of the study. Some published papers are available free of charge via PubMed or PubMed Central®. Alternatively, your local librarian may be able to obtain published articles through an interlibrary loan service.
If a study has been completed but no results for that study have been posted on the AAHSD, the recruitment status for that study remains labeled as 'completed'.
